Renewable Heating for Schools
Your Renewable Partner For Schools and further Education Facilities
Fuel Your Education Not Your Boiler
The majority of schools or colleges are high energy users with multiple unique buildings, often built in different decades, with infrastructure that has evolved. As a consequence, the single, out of the box solution, that many renewable companies may offer isn’t likely to be the answer to your school becoming more energy efficient.
Ecovision are different in their approach and will work with you, to ensure you find the right renewable technology for your school and will recommend solutions to lower fuel costs, reduce your carbon footprint and receive quarterly financial rewards from the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. This is all encompassed within the free initial consultation process Ecovision provide.
Our Experience With Schools
Ecovision have installed renewable energy systems in over 30 schools and as experts in this industry are ideally placed to advise you on what solution may be best suited to your property, how you can benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive and fuel your pupil’s future. Why Should Schools Go Renewable?
The Government offers subsidies in the form of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for all heat produced and used on site, and Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) for all electricity produced on site. This turns your heat and power requirements from a financial drain into a cash generator, through regular payments that are based upon the amount of fuel you use. Commercial Heat Pump or Biomass installations qualify for the Non-Domestic RHI and commercial Biomass CHP Units qualify for both the RHI and ROCs incentives. These are paid quarterly for a period of 20 years. These subsidies will see your initial cost paid off in an average of 5-7 years and will provide further payments that run for until the end of the 20 year period, generating a significant return on your investment.

Renewable Energy solutions provide substantial benefits
Lower Energy Bills
Although installing a modern energy system often results in a higher upfront cost than fossil fuel alternatives, the post install benefits can provide up to a 50% drop in annual energy bills. Renewable heating also ensures your energy bills are not altered by factors out of the UK’s control, as is the case with fossil fuels supplied by foreign states, allowing you to have a full understanding of the cost to heat your property, not only now but also for the future.
