Renewable Heating for Country House and Estate

Ecovision Your Leading County House and Estate Heating Partner

Renewables for Country House and Estate

Ecovision have vast experience within Country Houses and Estates and understand the majority are high energy users with multiple unique and sensitive buildings. As a consequence, the single, out of the box solution, that many renewable companies may offer isn’t likely to be the answer to your Country House or Estate becoming more energy efficient.

Ecovision’s experience in the installation of modern heating and hot water solutions within ancient and historic houses has defined us as pioneers within the energy. Whilst many industry peers argued that it could not be done, Ecovision were able to meet modern and historic with great success.

Ecovision are different in their approach and will work with you, to ensure you find the right renewable technology for your Country House or Estate and will recommend solutions to lower fuel costs, reduce your carbon footprint and receive quarterly financial rewards from the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.

Why Should Country Estates Go Renewable?

Ecovision Country Estate - Renewable Heat Incentive

Government Incentives

The Government offers subsidies in the form of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for all heat produced and used on site, and Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) for all electricity produced on site. This turns your heat and power requirements from a financial drain into a cash generator, through regular payments that are based upon the amount of fuel you use. Commercial Heat Pump or Biomass installations qualify for the Non-Domestic RHI and commercial Biomass CHP Units qualify for both the RHI and ROCs incentives. These are paid quarterly for a period of 20 years. These subsidies will see your initial cost paid off in an average of 5-7 years, and will provide further payments that run until the end of the 20 year period, generating a significant return on your investment.

District Heating

With a modern energy system from Ecovision you can supply heat from a single plant room directly to multiple buildings, eliminating the need to produce heat at each individual location. District heating solutions have significant cost savings versus the installation cost of multiple systems. A well designed district heating system will run more efficiently than multiple boilers providing savings that can benefit your bottom line.

Renewable Energy solutions provide substantial benefits for our climate. Through the burning of fossil fuels we are actively overloading our atmosphere with emissions, such as carbon dioxide, that contribute to global warming. These greenhouse gases result in trapped heat, increasing the temperature of our planet. This is harmful for our health, well-being and environment today, but also risks irreversible change in our planets climate in the future. Renewable heating systems use energy sources that are constantly replenished, such as heat from the ground, which have the potential to provide heat and hot water to your property indefinitely.

Lower Energy Bills

Although installing a modern energy system often results in a higher up front cost than fossil fuel alternatives, the post install benefits can provide up to a 50% drop in annual energy bills. Renewable heating also ensures your energy bills are not altered by factors out of the UK’s control, as is the case with fossil fuels supplied by foreign states, allowing you to have a full understanding of the cost to heat your property, not only now but also for the future.
