The RHI

An increasing number of District and County Councils have their own funds as a further incentive. It’s a post-code lottery, but in some areas the grants available amount to £1,000 for installation of heat pumps, solar heating and other renewables.

To qualify for a grant you MUST use an MCS accredited heat pump installer. MCS (The UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certificates are only awarded to companies which fulfil rigorous qualifying criteria.
