EcoVision launch 'heat pump' radiators

19th February 2008

EcoVision has announced the launch of their new range of high efficiency radiators which reduce annual CO2 emissions per dwelling by almost a tonne. In tandem with EcoVision’s range of ground and air source heat pumps, the high efficiency radiators provide an attractive combination of style, high performance and efficiency.

This new range can be seen on EcoVision’s stand no. E756, in Earl’s Court 1 at Ecobuild 2008, from 26th Feb - 28th Feb.

Industry associations such as the Ground Source Heat Pump Association and the Energy Saving Trust give up-to-date advice to consumers that heat pumps work most efficiently when installed with underfloor heating or radiators such as EcoVision’s High Efficiency Radiators.

The quiet high-efficency radiators, manufactured by Belgium company Jaga, have been found to warm a room up 9 times faster than a steel panel radiator with a comparable output. They also cut the length of heating periods to a minimum, meaning a reduction of 15% - 25% in heating bills for the average home.

The correct level of heating is delivered at all times via a microprocessor controlled unit that intelligently regulates the speed of the incredibly quiet fans. Even during periods of extreme cold, the electricity use is lower than a TV in standby mode.

The radiator contains only 1 tenth of the water volume of a traditional radiator, an average of only 2 litres instead of 20 litres. A scientific study in Watford showed that low water radiators consume much less energy. The fuel savings run to at least 12%*.

These energy savers not only benefit your energy bills, but they also benefit the environment.
