EcoVision Launches EcoVision Ireland

EcoVision and Geodelft Environmental are proud to announce the launch of EcoVision Ireland - a joint venture between EcoVision and GeoDelft Environmental, a wholly owned subsidiary of McAdam Design.

EcoVision Ireland will develop the opportunities for the growth in renewable and sustainable energy in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Peter Papafio, the Operations Director of GeoDelft Environmental, is to be the General Manager of the new venture. EcoVision Ireland have established their offices in Newtownards just outside Belfast and in Dublin.

EcoVision has completed projects in Northern Ireland via the company’s consultancy arm, EcoVision Consulting – having previously worked with McAdam Design for the Londonderry/Derry based Ilex Urban Regeneration Company Limited (Ilex) on the energy report for Fort George and for Ebrington Barracks. Ilex is an urban regeneration company formed by the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland to regenerate two key development sites in Londonderry/Derry.

EcoVision Ireland will introduce EcoVision’s design, supply and installation of complete renewable energy systems to Ireland. EcoVision has accreditation under the UK Micro Certification Scheme and consequently, with its relationship with Dimplex has access to the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2 funding. This gives charitable organisations in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland up to 50% funding for installations. UK home owners can also recieve £1,200 grants for their EcoVision installations.
