An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Domestic Gas Technical Surveyor to join the new team. In this role, you will be performing domestic central heating surveys in private homes, including boiler replacements, system upgrades and new installation. Initially based at our head office near Tetbury, you will be travelling to customer sites in the West of England, West Midlands and South Wales. We will provide all tools, equipment, uniform and a vehicle for business use.
The key elements of the role include:
Successful applicants will have extensive knowledge and understanding of all variations of boiler, central heating and electrical installations, building and gas safe regulations, health and safety legislation (including the use of work place assessments). You are likely to have had a career to date in a business that requires constant process analysis and improvement, and have the drive to fulfill your role whilst maintaining constructive and effective relationships with the rest of the organization. Although not essential, experience of renewable heating solutions, including Air-Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal would be a distinct advantage.
As you will be providing professional technical services, demonstrable evidence of current qualifications is essential. These should include current gas qualifications (through an Accredited Certification Scheme), including CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, WAT1 and Unvented Hot Water. In addition, a minimum NVQ Level 2/C&G or equivalent in a plumbing and/or heating related discipline is essential as is full driving license (maximum six penalty points). Additional appropriate electrical qualifications would be a distinct advantage. You need to be literate, numerate and comfortable using laptops or PDA's in order to complete documentation related to work activities. You must be able to act independently, prioritize work and make intelligent decisions whilst having the judgment to know when to discuss and gain support from management.

As part of our development in to the domestic gas installation market, we are now looking for a professional, enthusiastic and customer service focussed team of Domestic Gas Installation and Service Engineers to join the organisation.
These engineers will successfully perform domestic gas boiler installations, servicing and maintenance, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction within the requirements of Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations.
