A School in Essex installs ground source heat pumps to provide heating and cooling

To meet the requirements of the building Ecovision designed and installed a 60kW Ground Source Heat pump system capable of providing the heating and cooling according to the internal and external temperatures.

The energy is supplied by 12 x 100m bore holes. It is estimated that the School will make savings of at least £3,500 pa on their heating bills and expect to receive in excess of £5000 from the RHI this September. This money can be re-invested in the student's future.

Not only are we saving on fuel costs but we can also educate our students with a live on-site renewable system.
